Rola Bayram is a highly accomplished individual, holding a master’s degree in education with a specialization in Mathematics from the prestigious Lebanese American University.

Currently serving as the Math Specialist under the QITABI 2 program at World Learning in Beirut since 2019, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role.

Fluent in Arabic, English, and French, Rola has been instrumental in developing and translating math content/material in three languages, catering to students across the spectrum from early years to secondary level math. With a remarkable teaching career spanning over 30 years, she has made significant contributions to both private and public schools, at the university and school levels, spanning from intermediate to secondary school. Additionally, Rola has held the pivotal role of coordinator for grades KG to secondary school in both English and French sections.

Her extensive experience extends beyond the classroom, where she has actively participated in aligning math curricula in private schools. Rola’s impact extends to training and mentoring, having successfully guided over 300 teachers and administrators. Her approach is grounded in a holistic perspective and a balanced approach to math teaching and learning.

Under the QITABI 2 program, Rola has played a pivotal role in integrating Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) into the math curriculum. Recognizing the importance of students’ social and emotional development as integral components of the learning process, she has championed a comprehensive approach to education.

In the realm of consultancy, both locally and regionally, Rola focuses on topics such as dyscalculia, emphasizing teaching strategies and interventions for students facing mathematical difficulties. Beyond her professional commitments, she dedicates her spare time to attending global workshops, nurturing her passion for continuous learning. This dedication extends to mentoring teachers and students, inspiring them to engage with math meaningfully and joyfully. Rola’s multifaceted contributions underscore her commitment to educational excellence and the holistic development of both educators and learners alike.
